Hello, I am Ray Wilk the founder of Gramp’s Grub!
Gramp’s Grub is an online grocery store for people who love great tasting Gourmet Comfort Food prepared with fresh, local ingredients. Think of us as your personal high-end frozen food aisle.
What does food mean to us? Family, Friends, gatherings and all the things we relate to Comfort. Over the years food has played an essential part of our lives. Planning, prepping, and eating with friends and family have been some of our most memorable times. We love our food the aromas and flavours and are excited to share this passion with you.
Over the years trying to eliminate processed food, we have experimented making our own waffles, breakfast wraps, granola, pizza, pasta sauces, broths, soups and so much more. The wonderful thing about our journey led us down the road to great Gourmet Comfort Food with local fresh ingredients that taste great and freeze well.
A couple years ago, my lovely daughter Kayla got married. The reception dinner was catered by their friend Chef Rui Carvalho owner of Villa Bistro. The event was magical, and the food was exceptional.
The wedding, our love for great tasting food and wine brought our families together and Gramp’s Grub was conceived. We prepare, package, and distribute our Gourmet Comfort Food to Edmonton and the surrounding area from the Villa Bistro Kitchen.
When we can, we purchase as many ingredients as possible produced right here in Alberta. Check out the many Alberta producers we purchase from on our Local Supplier Page.
